Leadership Tip #1 – Mental toughness.
Every job is tough. Remain positive and have the mindset that nobody works harder than you! Gotta be mentally tough.
Leadership Tip #2 – Competitiveness.
You must have a burning internal competitive drive to be successful. Encourage and cheer on your teammates. Cut-throat competitors don’t last. So compete with yourself to get better everyday and help everyone around you to get better also.
Leadership Tip #3 – Humility.
Always give your teammates the credit. Give shout outs. Teamwork makes the dream work. None of us can do this alone.
Leadership Tip #4 – Execution excellence.
Say what you do and do what you say. A mistake made twice is a decision. Learn from your mistakes and execute better and better over time. Always do what’s right, never do what’s wrong. EE inside and outside of work. Strive daily to be a better person in all areas of life.
Leadership Tip #5 – Loyalty.
Remain loyal and honorable to your team, leaders, company, clients, etc.. Build customer loyalty and internal teammate loyalty every day.
Leadership Tip #6 – Passion and attitude.
Strive to excel in 3 areas – attitude, effort and performance. Notice performance is last. Attitude and effort come first. Have passion for what you do! Keep a positive mindset!
Leadership Tip #7 – Accountability.
Take accountability. No excuses mindset. Give open and honest feedback on how others can improve, but do everything you can to overcome all obstacles! We all need to constantly self-reflect on how we can get better and awesomize ourselves month over month.
